What kind of equipment (camera body, lens, filters, flash, tripod, cleaning equipment other) do you use?
I am using Canon 600D with 50 mm f /1.8 lens, tripod and remote control when I shot self portraits. I have 18-55 mm kit lens but I rarely use it.
What do you like and dislike about your equipment, specially your camera, and how would you improve it?
I love my Canon 600D but sometimes I have focus problems. I wish to procure the Canon 5D mark III with a waterproof bag for underwater photography.
What is your favourite lens, and why?
50 mm f/1.4 and f/1.2 because they make beautiful bokeh.
When you travel, what is in your essential photographic kit bag?
I always take my Canon 600D and 50 mm f/1.8 lens, sometimes tripod and remote control.
What kind of software/tools do you use for post-processing, if any?
I am using Photoshop CS6 to create a finish image. Sometimes I spend more than 5-6 hours per photo, I am perfectionist when it comes an image, I love that everything on photo looks perfect, just the way I imagine in my head.
How long have you been taking photographs? How do you find inspiration? How do you take your pictures?
I got into photography about 4 years ago and I am completely self-taught. I started taking random pictures of myself, nature and my friends to capture memories, mostly just for fun. I didn’t start taking it seriously until the autumn of 2012 when I bought new digital camera and realized how passionate I was about photography. That’s when I really started growing. Photography become my greatest love.
Which style of photography do you like the most, and why?
I love creating something unrealistic in realistic world. I love taking fine art/conceptual photos and portraits the most. I love telling stories with my images. I want, when people see my photo, to ask themselves is this a real or not? I love making realistic manipulation with my images.
What goal are you working towards within your photography and when will you know you have reached it?
My goal is to constantly improve in the field of photography and to help people who wish to practice photography via workshops.
Looking at your own work, which piece is your favourite? Why? Please provide a link to the picture.
“Guardian”
Because the crow is a spirit animal associated with life mysteries and magic. With this picture I wanted to show that even when you’re lonely, and you have no one to rely on, there is always something there that will protect you and be by your side.

My work fits into artistic, fine art/portrait, vintage, long-exposure and landscape.

What is the one most important lesson that you have learned since you started taking photographs?
Be persistent and don’t give up just because you don’t have a good camera. A good picture isn’t made with a good camera but rather a good idea. Just be imaginative 🙂
